Aadhaar card mandatory for classes 10 and 12 students : confirms UP board

From now onwards, Aadhaar is mandatory for all the students appearing for class 10th and 12th examinations according to “The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP)”.

The exam authorities will not allow the students to sit in the examination hall if they fail to carry their Aadhaar card along with them.

Registrations in various competitive exams like JEE, NEET is done through Aadhaar Card.

Aadhar Card is made compulsory to avoid the fraudulent activities that take place in the examination hall. 

Number of candidates giving the exams has increased over the year.For class 10, a total of 37,12,508 students are to appear while in class 12, it is about 30,17,032. In all, 67,29,540 students will sit for the exams.

Aadhaar is a must :

As we all know that Aadhaar is made mandatory for all from the next year, it was an action which need to be taken soon as some candidates are involved in extra fraudulent activities. This was harming the entire examination process. The innocent candidates were also harmed by the same.

Aadhaar is a compulsion not only in examination halls but also in every task which an individual performs, such as buying of a mobile phone, taking a sim card and many more other things.

Candidates registered:

In 2017, 3.40 lakh students appeared from class 10, while for class 12, as many as 2654492 students registered for the exam. The number of registered candidates have increased over the year appearing for the exams.
