States Reopening Schools with a Drop in the Number of Covid Cases
As there has been a decrease in Coronavirus cases, many of states have decided to reopen the schools. Some of them have reopened their school with the covid protocol. As there has been a drop in the number of covid cases, restrictions concerning Lockdown were eased.
The states like Haryana, Gujarat, and Bihar are set to reopen schools with a drop in the Covid cases. However, the online mode of study will continue for the time being and attendance will not be compulsory for the students. The states such as Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Haryana, Chandigarh, Puducherry, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Delhi have decided to restart their classes in schools.
Haryana School education Directorate has issued a notification regarding the reopening of schools. The classes for the High school students begin on July 16. For middle school students from sixth to eighth standard, classes will begin on July 23. All of them should mandatorily adhere to the covid protocol to ensure their safety.
Attendance will not be a barrier for those who could not attend classes physically. Students who are unwilling to go to school can continue their studies through the online mode. However, the decision regarding the reopening of primary school has not been taken till now. Any updates of the decisions taken regarding reopening of the schools will be informed in time.
