The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi launches 5 new initiatives for more accessible education. The initiatives including the Indian sign language dictionary and talking books have been implemented to play a significant role in shaping India\'s future.
\"Redefine teaching-learning process. The teaching-learning process has to be constantly redefined and redesigned to make the education sector in the country-world class. The new initiatives will bring in an educational revolution and place the Indian education system on the global map,\" said PM.
He further addressed the \"Shikshak Parv\" in which he expressed his confidence in cultivating Indian education as a competitive system around the globe as well as an initiative to mark the perfect future of the youth. This initiative has a theme of \"Quality and Sustainable Schools: Learning from Schools in India.\"
PM launched the Indian Sign language dictionary which involves audio and text-based sign language videos for the hearing impaired, talking books for the visually impaired, and school quality assurance. Also, NISHTHA teachers training program for NIPUN Bharat as an assessment framework of CBSE and a portal called Vidyanjali for facilitating education volunteers, donors, and other CSR contributors for school development.
He also congratulated the teachers who had received the national award. Also, he appreciated the performance of the Indian players in the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics. The educational policies were updated by the Prime Minister on Independence day. The New educational policies are implemented to empower the future citizens of India.
