Central Board of Education Begins a Portal of Counseling for Classes 10 and 12

Students are always confused about choosing their career paths. Students of 10 and 12 are often in a dilemma to choose the area of study which they are passionate about. Many students studying in schools seek career counseling outside their school to solve this issue. In such a situation, the Central Board of Secondary Education has launched a tele-counseling facility to encourage the students and help them to choose the right career path.

CBSE has taken a good initiative to clear the doubts of the students. A portal for tele-counseling has been launched by the Central Board of Secondary Education. The service is open for all the students of class 10 and class 12. The Ministry of Education has put out a tweet about the tele-counseling service. The tele-counseling facility offers the parents and students a platform to make decisions regarding the future of the students.

To avail of the tele-counseling service, students should on this toll number 1800 11 8004. Students can take advice from experienced academicians such as principals or counselors. These academicians or experts are affiliated with CBSE schools.
Overall 83 experts will be available on call for the students to take advice. The time will be from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm. The academic experts can provide the right guidance for the students to achieve their career goals. CBSE has taken a good initiative to clear the doubts of the students.

The CBSE has also taken some of the initiatives for the development of students. ‘Dost for Life’ App was also launched recently to maintain the social and mental well-being of the students from class 9-12. This was launched considering the pandemic to help students who are under pressure. These services are all provided to the students free of cost.
