CAT 2017 Result Out; Vishal Bohra scores 100 percentile by doing self-study

This year 20 candidates have scored 100 percentile out of 1.9 lakh candidates

At a time when candidates believe that there is no substitute of coaching, Vishal Bohra has cracked the CAT entrance exam with 100 percentile. This is his third attempt and in the earlier attempts, he performed well too. In fact, in 2017, he scored 245 in total. His first preference is into IIM- Ahmedabad or Kolkata, but if not selected he might opt for IIM- Bangalore, FMC Delhi and XLRI. Vishal Bohra did BTech in civil engineering from the Jadavpur University and believes in self-study.

IIM Lucknow, which was conducting the CAT exam 2017 has released the results and this time 20 candidates (including Bohra) have scored 100 percentile in CAT Entrance exam. The 24-year-old Vishal Bohra suggests the aspirants of Common Admission Test (CAT) to be thorough with the fundamentals of each paper and must take more mock tests to know where their preparation level lies.

Another candidate who has turned many eyes towards his performance is a Mumbai teacher, Patrick DSouza who has scored 100 percentile for the fourth time. Even this year, three non-engineers and two girls have scored the 100 percentile. Perhaps, this is the first time that non-engineers have bagged the perfect score for MBA colleges. This time 1.9 lakh candidates appeared for CAT Entrance Exam and was conducted by IIM Lucknow.
