ATAL-AICTE sponsored Online Faculty Development Program (FDP)

All India council of technical education online  FDP has recognized as the world record. the academy started a program for 1000 faculty in 9 thrust areas and now which is going to provide training to 1lakh participants including faculties. 


  
This five days program going to conduct on  ‘Advanced Matrix Laboratory (MATLAB) for Scientific Computing’ of the Civil Engineering Section of the University Polytechnic, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) on 13 September to enrich the faculty vitality in critical computational software skills. 

 

Presiding over the inaugural function of the program, the Chief Guest, Prof Parvez Mustajab (Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Technology) says: “building a career around learning for Higher education faculty to understand the importance of continual education.    

 

AMU is one of the amongst institutions, taking the initiative for the country to offer training and development opportunities for faculty through continual learning and its highly benefitting the university in all aspects”. The emerging areas of science and technology are been highlighted by him and the application of MATLAB as a powerful tool for engineers and scientists in multiple domains.

 

Prof Arshad Umar (Principal, University Polytechnic, and FDP chair for the Inaugural Session) elaborated on the use of MATLAB in solving complex engineering problems. Mr. Mohd Danish (FDP Coordinator) has shared a view over FDP and also elaborated the advantages and achievements of the program.
